ARC of Bay County, Florida is a local Panama City organization of volunteers trying to save the lives of the animals abandoned daily in our shelters. Many of these animals are abandoned due to no fault of their own and deserve a second chance at life. That is what ARC is trying to give them. If you are interested in helping with this effort, please feel free to contact us via the information provided below or on the “contact us” page. Foster Homes Desperately Needed! We are in desperate need of foster homes! Some people think this means they have to pay for all the costs associated with the animals they take into their care. This is a misconception! We will cover all vet costs, all you need provide is a loving home, and a bit of food. We will even try to help with the food costs when donations allow.
And remember...the more foster homes we have, the more animals we can help! There are many ways to donate! While we always welcome monetary donations, there are many other ways you can donate! You could buy a bag of dog food, donate new or gently used pet items, or even just donate your time by helping with volunteer tasks and activities.  Come join us at our events! We are always looking for prospective adopters. If you don’t see an animal you are interested in right now, please go ahead and start the adoption process anyway. This will give you several advantages: 1. You will be able to put in a specific request for a specific breed or type of animal 2. Your paperwork and home visit will be completed so you will have priority for new animals going up for adoption and 3. Once you find your dream pet there will be no wait until your lifelong companion can join you.
